Refund & Returns Policy
Unopened Geek Bar devices can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Opened devices and e-liquid are not eligible per health and safety regulations. Defective-device claims go through a separate warranty process — both are covered below.
Return Window
14 days from the delivery date marked by the carrier. The clock starts when the package is delivered, not when you opened the box. After day 14, returns are no longer eligible except for defective-device claims (covered separately below).
To qualify for a standard return, the device must be:
- In its original sealed retail packaging
- The holographic security seal intact and unbroken
- Accompanied by the original order number
What's Eligible for Return
- Eligible — unopened, sealed Geek Bar devices within the 14-day window. Includes Pulse 15K, Pulse X 25K, Mate 60K Kit, Mate 60K Pod, CLR 50K and Pulse Zero Nicotine.
- Eligible (defective claim) — devices that arrived damaged, leaking, non-functional, or otherwise defective. Goes through the defective-device process below.
- Not eligible — opened devices (seal broken), partially used devices, e-liquid handling, devices outside the 14-day window without a defect claim.
- Not eligible — Geek Bar Vape Membership (non-refundable once purchased; see membership page).
How to Start a Return
- Contact customer support within 14 days of delivery — through the contact page or by emailing service@geek-bar.org. Include your order number and the items you want to return.
- Receive a return authorization (RA) — we send you an RA number and shipping instructions within 24-48 hours during US business days. Do not ship the package before receiving the RA — unauthorized returns will not be processed.
- Pack the device in its original retail packaging — seal intact, original outer packaging if available. Include the RA number on the outside of the shipping box.
- Ship the package back — you cover the return shipping cost for standard returns. For defective-device claims, return shipping is reimbursed once the defect is confirmed.
- We inspect and process — once received, we verify the device is in returnable condition. Refund or replacement processing starts within 3 to 5 business days of receipt.
Refund Processing Time
Once your return is received and approved:
- Our processing — 3 to 5 business days to inspect, approve and initiate the refund on our end.
- Card refund posting — typically 5 to 10 days after our processing, depending on your card issuer's policies. Some banks are faster; some take the full window.
- Total elapsed time — usually 1 to 2 weeks from when your return package leaves your hands.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. We do not offer store credit or alternative refund channels.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your Geek Bar arrived physically damaged (cracked chassis, leaking e-liquid, broken seal in transit) or fails to operate normally (won't fire, won't charge, no display) — that is a defective claim, not a standard return:
- Document the issue — take photos of the damage or the device's failure state. Photos help approve the claim quickly.
- Read the troubleshooting guide first — many "broken device" reports are actually fixable in under 5 minutes. See Geek Bar Not Working and the burnt taste guide before filing a claim. A confirmed defect is the standard for approval.
- File a defective-device claim — through the contact page within 14 days of delivery. Select "Defective device claim" as the topic and attach photos.
- Approved claim outcomes — replacement device shipped at our cost, or full refund — you choose during the claim. Return shipping is reimbursed for confirmed defects.
Non-Returnable Items
- Opened devices — once the holographic seal is broken or the device has been used, we cannot accept the return. This is a health and safety regulation, not a discretionary policy.
- E-liquid in any form — including pre-filled pods and tanks. Same regulation as opened devices.
- Membership purchases — the Geek Bar Vape Membership is non-refundable once purchased. To lapse the membership at renewal, simply do not renew.
- Devices outside the 14-day window — without an active defective claim.
- Items damaged after delivery — accidents post-delivery are not covered. Damage in transit is covered through the defective-device process.
