Pulse X 25K Full Specifications

The Pulse X 25000 is the premium evolution of the Pulse series — built on the same dual-mode chassis that made the Pulse 15K the best-selling Geek Bar disposable, then extended on every dimension that matters for a long-life device: a larger battery, a higher-resolution display, four Pulse-X-exclusive flavor editions and a small bump on the firing-mode wattage ceiling. The 16 mL e-liquid reservoir is identical to Pulse 15K; the 25K rating comes from a more efficient draw curve plus the larger battery, not more e-liquid.

02 / HARDWARE

What Makes the Pulse X Different — 3D Curved Screen, VPU Chip, Starlight UI

Three pieces of hardware separate the Pulse X from the Pulse 15K and the rest of the disposable category. The first is the 3D curved smart screen that wraps around the device body. The display replaces the original Pulse's flat HD panel with a curved panel that renders animated battery, puff count and mode indicators with depth effects. The Starlight UI is the firmware layer driving the animations — it activates on draw, dims after a few seconds of inactivity to preserve battery, and animates between Regular and Pulse Mode toggles so you see the switch happen instead of guessing.

The second is the dual mesh coil paired with VPU Chip Technology. VPU stands for Vapor Processing Unit — it's the chipset that meters wattage to the coil. On the dual-mesh hardware, VPU keeps flavor consistent across the entire 25,000-puff lifetime by adjusting power as e-liquid drops. The earliest 100-200 puffs and the final 100-200 puffs on a Pulse X taste much closer to each other than they would on a single-mesh disposable. This is one of the most cited reasons in customer reviews for preferring Pulse X over single-mesh competitors at the same puff count.

The third is the 820 mAh USB-C rechargeable battery. That's 26% larger than the Pulse 15K's 650 mAh cell. In practice this means about 30% longer life per charge cycle and one or two fewer total charges across the device's lifespan. Charging is fast — about 20 minutes to 80% on a standard 1A USB-C cable, and a full charge in around 30 minutes. The battery indicator on the curved screen shows remaining percentage so you can plan the next charge instead of getting caught with a dead device mid-session.

46+ Flavors Across 8 Editions

The Pulse X lineup spans 8 themed editions, with the Standard Edition mostly shared with Pulse 15K and four editions (Slush, Meteor, Jam, Thermal) exclusive to Pulse X. Some flagship flavors like Blue Razz Ice, Miami Mint and Watermelon Ice appear across multiple editions with identical e-liquid formulations — the difference is the device wrap, not the taste. All flavors are 5% salt nicotine on the same dual-mesh + VPU hardware.

Both devices share the same dual mesh coil, the same 5% salt nicotine formulation and the same dual-mode firing system. The decision usually comes down to two questions. First: do you want one of the Pulse-X-exclusive editions (Slush, Meteor, Jam, Thermal)? If yes, Pulse X is the only path — those recipes don't exist on Pulse 15K. Second: how heavy is your daily draw frequency? At light use (15-25 draws per day), a Pulse 15K lasts about two weeks; the same use on a Pulse X stretches to about three weeks. At heavy use (60-80 draws per day) the Pulse 15K retires in 5-7 days while the Pulse X lasts 10-12 days. Heavy daily vapers usually default to Pulse X even at the $2 price difference because the cost-per-puff drops below the Pulse 15K rate.

05 / HOW TO USE

Mode Switching, Draw, Recharge

  1. 01

    Unbox

Remove the device from packaging and pull off the small mouthpiece-airway sticker if present. The Pulse X ships ready to vape — no priming, no fill, no setup. The Starlight UI flashes once on first draw to confirm the device is alive.

  2. 02

    Draw

The Pulse X is draw-activated, so there is no button to fire the coil. Inhale on the mouthpiece. The curved screen will animate to show the current battery level, current mode and a real-time puff counter. First few draws will be slightly weaker as the coil saturates with e-liquid; from puff 5-10 onwards the flavor settles into its normal profile.

  3. 03

    Switch modes

A single press of the side button toggles between Regular Mode (default, 25,000 puffs rated) and Pulse Mode (higher wattage, 12,500 puffs rated). The 3D curved screen updates instantly to show which mode is active. Most users alternate: Regular through the day for consistent flavor and battery life, Pulse for a few sessions when they want a fuller hit. See the Pulse Settings guide for the full toggle walkthrough.

  4. 04

    Recharge

When the battery indicator drops below 20%, plug in via USB-C. The Pulse X reaches 80% in roughly 20 minutes on a standard 1A wall adapter and 100% in around 30 minutes. The device can be vaped while charging if needed. See the charging guide for full charging behavior and troubleshooting.

  5. 05

    Retire

When the screen displays a low-liquid indicator and the flavor begins to drop off, the device is reaching end of life. Don't keep drawing on an empty Pulse X — dry hits taste burnt. The disposal guide covers proper battery recycling.

07 / FAQ

Pulse X 25K — Frequently Asked

What's in the Geek Bar Pulse X 25K?
The Pulse X 25K is a single disposable device: 25,000 puffs in Regular Mode (12,500 in Pulse Mode), 5% salt nicotine (50 mg/mL), 16 mL pre-filled e-liquid, dual mesh coil with VPU Chip Technology, 820 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, 3D curved smart screen running the Starlight UI, USB-C charging that reaches 80% in roughly 20 minutes.
How many flavors does the Pulse X 25K have?
46+ flavors across 8 themed editions: Standard (20), Patriot (3), Platinum (6), Meteor (5), Slush (5), Jam (5), Thermal (5) and Christmas (2). Four editions — Slush, Meteor, Jam and Thermal — are Pulse-X-exclusive and don't ship on the Pulse 15K body. The Pulse X Flavors hub lists every flavor with edition notes.
How is the Pulse X 25K different from the Pulse 15K?
Pulse X runs 25,000 puffs (vs 15,000 on Pulse 15K), uses an 820 mAh battery (vs 650 mAh), upgrades the flat HD screen to a 3D curved panel with Starlight UI, and carries four Pulse-X-exclusive editions (Slush, Meteor, Jam, Thermal). Both share the same 16 mL e-liquid, the same 5% salt nicotine, the same dual mesh coil with VPU Chip Technology and the same dual-mode firing. Pulse X is $24.99; Pulse 15K is $22.99.
When was the Pulse X 25K released?
The Pulse X 25K launched in 2024 as the higher-capacity successor to the Pulse 15K, keeping the same dual-mode chassis but extending puff count and battery, adding the 3D curved screen with Starlight UI, and introducing four Pulse-X-exclusive editions (Slush, Meteor, Jam, Thermal).
Is the Pulse X 25K refillable?
No. The Pulse X 25K is a single-use disposable, pre-filled with 16 mL of e-liquid rated for 25,000 puffs. The Mate 60K Kit is the only Geek Bar designed for refill via the dedicated Mate 60K Pod system.
How long does a Pulse X 25K last in real-world use?
Real-world life depends on draw frequency and mode. At light use (15-25 draws per day) a Pulse X lasts about three weeks per device. At heavy use (60-80 draws per day) the same device retires in about 10-12 days. Pulse Mode roughly halves the duration of Regular Mode because it pulls more e-liquid per draw. The Pulse puff count guide covers the full draw-frequency math.
What does VPU Chip Technology actually do?
VPU stands for Vapor Processing Unit — it's the chipset that meters wattage to the coil. The VPU keeps flavor consistent across the entire 25,000-puff lifetime by adjusting power as e-liquid drops, so the earliest few hundred puffs and the final few hundred puffs taste much closer to each other than they would on a single-mesh disposable without VPU control. The same chip ships on Mate 60K Kit and CLR 50K.
Can I vape the Pulse X while it's charging?
Yes. The Pulse X supports pass-through charging — the coil continues to fire on draw while the battery is taking USB-C power. Most users charge during the 30-minute fill-up rather than vaping during charging because the battery hits 100% quickly, but it works if you need it.
