Confirm the current pod is empty
The pod's top display shows e-liquid level; when it reads zero or a "replace pod" indicator appears, the pod is finished. Drawing on a depleted pod produces a burnt taste and is the wrong time to keep using it.

Pull the depleted pod off the magnetic contacts
Grip the pod by the body (not the mouthpiece) and pull straight up. The magnets release without resistance once you apply gentle upward pressure. No screws, threads or release buttons.

Set the depleted pod aside for recycling
Each pod contains a 200 mAh lithium cell that needs e-waste disposal rather than household trash. Drop in a battery-recycling container or e-waste bin per local rules.

Unbox the fresh pod
The new pod ships with a small sticker over the airway and the magnetic contacts. Peel off both stickers before installation.

Snap the fresh pod onto the body
Align the magnetic contacts on the pod base with the contacts on the Kit body's mounting platform. The pod self-aligns thanks to the magnet geometry — push gently and it clicks into position.

First draw to verify connection
Take a short test draw. The body display should refresh to show the new pod's full e-liquid bar and the current mode. If the device doesn't fire, pull the pod off and re-seat — the contacts can occasionally need a second alignment.
The full swap takes under 30 seconds once you've done it once. The Mate 60K body keeps its battery charge throughout the swap, so you can be vaping the new pod immediately.
